My Story

I was sexually assaulted and raped exactly two weeks before my birthday 3 years ago. This year for my birthday I would like to raise money for SV2 as I am aware of how big their waiting list is (from experience) and as you have to transfer yourself to this specialised counselling/therapy it is a very difficult waiting process for the victim. I will be turning 20 this year, so no longer will I be a teenager. I can’t imagine ever being able to not be triggered, especially around my birthday, and the upcoming months being very difficult. I have recently started therapy at SV2 after a long time without any support. I can only imagine how difficult it is for the therapists working for SV2. I would love to help by donating as much money as possible to help fund counselling sessions and employ more experienced therapists/counsellors. Every amount helps xo
